• Basic support (cash)
• Child care support (for work or school)
• Medical support (health care coverage and coverage of costs)
• Past child support
• Child support arrears that happen when child support is not paid when due

Examples of what child support does not include:

• School fees
• Sports or music lesson fees or expenses
• Private debt between the parties
